Tattoos are becoming more socially acceptable to western society year by year resulting in trends which are more, “In your face!”.
Speaking of “In your face”, neck tattoos are on the rise. Though to most this is extreme, society is slowly becoming okay with this. Typically people get neck tattoos on the left or right side of their neck, specifically behind and under the ear.
Hand Tattoos are speculated to be the biggest tattoo trend of 2020 as it was in 2019. The hand is an amazing canvas for any tattoo lover as it is shown off at all times of day. Day by day people are expanding from their arm down to their hands for more space for their art.
Hello, I am Christian! I am attending Clark for my Associates of Arts and planning on Portland State University to continue my education! Currently, I am taking mainly art classes to further expand in what I am passionate at. In my free time, I enjoy to do anything art related! Although I mainly paint, I have been practicing the art of tattooing.
Things I enjoy that are not art related are, video games, exploring Portland and the surrounding areas, camping and seeing musical performances live. Currently, I am saving up to travel down the west coast for spring break with a few friends!
My music taste is all over the place but you will most commonly hear me listening to bands like The Beatles and Simon and Garfunkle to garage rock bands like The Frights and The Grinns. Currently, I have tickets to see Twin Peaks for a second time and later in June, I will be seeing Beach house perform in portland!
Although I have not chosen exactly what I want to do with my career I am interested in looking into tattoo design, web development, and graphic design!
